An ADHD-Friendly Environment
A baby camel turns to its mother and says,
“Mummy, Mummy, why do we have such soft padding on our hooves?”
The Mummy answers, “That’s so when we take our long trips through the desert our feet don’t hurt us.”
The baby camel asks, “Mummy, Mummy, why do we have such big humps on our backs?”
The mother responds, “That’s because when we take long trips through the desert we are able to store water in our humps so that we don’t get dehydrated.”
The baby camel asks “Mummy, Mummy, why do we have such big eye lashes?”
The mother explains “That’s for when we take our long trips through the desert we can beat out sand from our faces so it doesn’t go into our eyes.”
The baby camel stops and wonders, “Mommy, Mommy, so what are we doing in the zoo?”
Each of us have special qualities and amazing talents and we have to put ourselves into the right environment so we can use our talents and shine.
Part of learning how to manage ADHD is learning how to put yourself into an ADHD-friendly environment and how to create a productive environment for where you are right now.
